Good Morning Britain Healthstar awards

I got the opportunity to meet some of the most amazing people in the UK to celebrate just how amazing they are and I was so grateful for the opportunity.

Last weekend Sean and I went down to London to attend the Good Morning Britain Healthstar Awards as Sean had been nominated for the Lifesaver award… how amazing if that. If you’re interested in reading a little bit more about Sean’s story he did a guest post for me a little while back… http://rhiannon-rose.co.uk/?p=997.

The event was held at the Rosewood Hotel in Holbourn London, it’s such a beautiful and relaxing hotel, you would never believe you were in the middle of London.. such a fantastic venue for an event like this. Sean, myself and Johnny (who had nominated Sean for the award) were welcomed to the event with champagne and canapes.

During our day we got to meet some well-known faces, speak to and hear the stories of some absolutely incredible people who have gone on to do amazing things regardless of the struggles they have/are still facing, story’s of which I don’t think I’ll ever forget! It just goes to show, no matter who you are you’re always capable of incredible things.

I am so grateful I could attend the event because of Johnny and Sean and I’m so grateful to good morning Britain for planning the awards ceremony and acknowledging amazing people!

Soooo, what’s next for Sean and myself? Well there has been about a year of planning for the coast to coast cycle ride which my dad and his partner, approximately 150 miles over 3 days! We are raising money for Anthony Nolan and I would be so grateful if you could sponsor us over on our Justgiving page – https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/seanscoast2coast17 – please bare with me, I’ve just set up the page and it’s looking a little blank haha.
