It feels like a long long time since I posted on my blog, I’ve had a hectic couple of months but it’s so nice to be able to pick up where I left of on this little place of the internet with a everyday work makeup.

When I do wear makeup to work I try and keep it very minimal, a little bit of eyeshadow and nude lips.

Products I used:

  • Revlon Colourstay
  • Maybelline Undereye Concealer
  • Maybelline Matte Me Powder
  • Mac Harmony Contour Powder
  • The Balm Mary Loumanizer
  • LE Bourjois Blush
  • Tanya Burr Eyeshadow Palette – Birthday Suit
  • Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara
  • Freedom Eyebrow Pomade
  • Benefit Gimme Brow
  • Mac Modesty Lipstick

Highlighters are the love of my life at the moment, as they are so many other beauty bloggers, “highlighter on fleek” and all that!! I won’t lie I fell head over heels for my Mary-Lou and honestly thought nothing would compare until I tried this bad boy.
When I first saw the shade Ice Cold I thought that it could be slightly too white/silver toned as I prefer a more champagne highlighter but on the skin it is utterly beautiful and gives you the flawless skin effect that all these incredible highlighters do nowadays.
Also, this is one of the biggest face compacts I’ve ever seen so I can already tell it’s going to last a while. I’m going to admit there aren’t any other colours in the range that I think I will be trying out as there is a funky mint shade, a pinky/peach and a bronze which I just don’t think will suit my pale skin tone.
If you are able to get your hand on one of Jeffrees Skin Frosts and you’re a lover of a strong highlight like myself I would highly recommend them.

What do you think of the Skin Frosts?

The past couple of months my obsession with watching youtube videos and reading blogs has continued and these are the few that I’ve been absolutely loving:

The Classic Youtuber- I call Sammi Marie ‘the classic’ youtuber that I absolutely love because she is one of the first youtubers I ever started to follow, in fact if I remember rightly it was Beautycrush, Juicystar07, Queenbeauty and Allthatglitters that introduced me to the world of youtubers and bloggers when I was in my teenage years. Sammi is without a doubt one of the most down the earth youtubers, is utterly gorgeous and has the cutest dogs!

The Down to Earth Youtuber – Rosanna Pierce is a fairly new addition to my subscribers list but I can safely say for the last six months or so I have fallen in love with her weekly vlogs, beauty videos and her blog. She is so real and relatable I always feel like I’m just watching a mate when watching her videos. She’s a Northern lass keeping it real!

Alice Snell is another weekly vlogger who I literally sit around and wait for her to pop up in my subscription feed. She’s an utter beaut who is so down to earth and lovely with similar makeup preferences to me so I know anything she recommends I’m going to love.

The Fitness Youtuber – Carly Rowena… What a babe!! She’s a fitness blogger and youtuber who has taken over the internet with her positive attitude and killer abs. I love her weekly vlogs and always find myself going back to her channel and blog whenever I need some gym inspo.

The Daily Vlogger – If your not aware of who the Shaytard’s are then firstly, where have you been hiding?! Shay and his wife Collette have been daily vlogging for yearssss along with their five kids who by the way are the most entertaining kids ever!

Who are your favourite bloggers/youtubers?

I created my little space on the Internet a good few years ago and I’ve blogged on and off ever since. Only during the last couple of months have I really got into a routine and stuck to it. I’ve purchased myself an Olympus Pen to assist in blogging and so far so great!!

So, here are the reasons why recently I’ve been loving blogging:

1. It’s a Hobby
I love the fact that when I get home from my 9-5 job I come home to my lovely little doggy & boyfriend, watch a few episodes of Prison Break while reading my favourite blogs or writing some posts. I genuinely look forward to writing up posts, taking some pictures & scrolling through my bloglovin feed.

2. Twitter Chats
In the last month I’ve created a blog Twitter account and slowly become more active in blog chats. A few of my fave so far have been #beechat, #thegirlgang and #bbeautychat.

3. Trying out new products
Although no girl needs an excuse to buy and use excessive amounts of make up, knowing that I’ll be writing about it on my blog afterwards it at least makes me feel a little bit better. Let’s be honest, we’ve all used the excuse “it’s for the blog”

4. Blogging community
In the short amount of time I’ve taken part in Twitter chats I’ve chatted to a bunch of lovely girls and also found amazing new blogs that I’ve instantly added to my bloglovin feed.

So, those are just a few of the reasons why I love blogging, why do you blog?
